A tradition!

      For as long as I have been teaching, I have always been a waffle making fool on the last morning of school!
     I do this in celebration of all the kiddos who have a summer birthday. I feel like those kids lose out on not having a b-day during the school year.
     I am always surprised at how many kids have never had a homemade waffle (just the Eggo kind)!
     This is a fun thing to do, and the kids love it. I have lots of students who will come to school just for waffles tomorrow, and then leave to go home!
     I am excited for tomorrow morning!
