Been a wee bit busy!

First, I thought I would update you on what we did and did not accomplish over Spring Break, seeing as how I had quite a list going of what I wanted to do.
We did get a horse ride in, but just at the house. On another note, we are fairly certain that our little one's horse is PREGNANT, and that we bought her that way last summer, so she will probably be popping here in the next month! I admit I am excited for the possibility of having a baby horse at our house. If the weather permits, we are going to try for a trail ride on this Saturday.
I DID exercise every day during Spring Break, and I am quite proud of that, and that I am just in the ZONE as far as exercising goes!!
WOW! Spring cleaning...HOLY GUACAMOLE! We accomplished everything we wanted to as far as spring cleaning goes. I do have a few things I have since added to my list, but those we will deal with soon! We also ended up working outside, too! It's looking much better now that we have sloughed off the winter coat!
We did not start our garden, but I am buying all that we want, and we are going to start that this next week when our little one is back home. We need to prep our apple bins, too! We are going to paint them with bright colors!
The books...well, I did read quite a bit of the two books that I have going, but neither is finished. AND, to add to that, I started a new one two days ago! What am I thinking???
I wrote one full chapter of my novel. So, I did half of what I wanted to on this one.
We didn't watch much tv, just having too much fun doing lots of other stuff!
I did get two of my Relay Life for teams entirely registered, and everything organized, and I have two of my other teams partially registered. (I am still waiting on paperwork from some of the team members.)
Now, how about some of the things NOT on the list?
Rick and I went for a super cool drive! We first drove up the Entiat for as far as we could go, before the road is closed for snow. Then we went to Chelan via Navarre Coulee, and then we explored up towards Shady Pass. It was such a fun scouting time for great places to ride our horses! I love Sunday drives!!

This is a cool pic of a place up the Entiat.

Next, I surprised the fam, and we stayed at the local Best Western on the Monday of our break. This was such a fun escape, and we were right here in town! We swam for hours and hours, and we all just had so much fun!
Of course, on Tuesday we spent some girl time together and we went for pedicures! To me, that's a true rite of Spring Break...breaking out the sandals to show off our super cute toes!

Most importantly we did tons of playing outside! Thank goodness for mostly decent weather. From the 4-wheeler to the bikes, to the playground and trampoline, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed ourselves, and I can say that this Spring Break was ONE of the best!!!
So, there you have it! Busy, but BRILLIANT!!!
