We sent a Veterans Day care package to Cody (with lots of stuff to be shared with his fellow marines).

We have the freedom to do just this!
Today me and the litte one are staying in our PJs, watching movies, baking cakes, reading, and just enjoying this day off. And, don't for a minute think that we don't appreciate it and truly realize what a gift it is!

I sneaked away for the VG assembly too! The kids were so cute singing their songs! Wasn't it nice to have a day to just stay home, reflect, and enjoy our company? I've been thinking about your son and all those who are there for us today and every day!
